On a night where the C's get little to nothing from star point god Rajon Rondo (0 pts 4 asst 20 mins) you would have thought the C's had no shot versus the Wizards on a back to back home and home series. That was far from the the Truth in this one as the C's Bench came to play and the Wizards Stars played as such for a Wizards double-extras get down at the Verizon Hot Spot in downtown D.C. dba the Verizon Center.

The Wiz Kids led by 58-45 at the break and 92-76 after three only to see the Celts reinforcements take the game under their control and bail out Boston not once but twice. It as a Evan Turner (18 pts 8 asst 6 rebs) game-tying money ball at .1 left in the 4th that sent the game to its first extras at 110-110.

In the first extras with the Celts holding onto a 121-118 lead it was former Celts star Paul Pierce going game-tying money ball with 38.9 left that tied it at 121-121 as Celts PF Brandon Bass (19 pts 9 rebs) missed a potential game-winning "J" with 1.1 left.

In the 2nd set of extras the Celts jumped out to a 130-123 lead only to see Wall-Star go on a 10-2 run giving the Wiz Kids D.C. a 133-132 lead as the regulation hero Turner missed a potential game-winner with .9 seconds left and the Wizards win and they needed that to avoid a home/home sweep at the hands of the C's.

Wall-Star of Wall's Wings and Burgers had 26 points, seventeen helpers, seven boards, and nine turnovers. Pierce fittingly enough vs the C's had a team-high 28 points for the Wiz Kids D.C. as Jeff Green tied that with a team-high 28 for the C's. C's rook Marcus Smart had 23 points and dropped four assists.

Wiz Starters accounted for 106 of the Wizards 133 points. The Celts reinforcements accounted for 82 of the C's 132 points. Both teams shot at an amazing clip from the stripe wit the C's at 90% and the Wiz at 83%. It just came down to John Wall's 10-2 run at the end of the 2nd set of extras that proved to be the winner!
