Two of the best college basketball  teams on the defensive end were in in full effect mode at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky on Friday night. In the end it was Kentucky just has one too many Horses in those Bluegrass Stables and one of them had a night to remember!

A 26-26 tie at the break turned into a UK Show that illustrated why this 2014-15 UK Team will be so hard to put into the loss column. Coach Cal went with Freshmen Tyler Ulis and Devin Booker at the guards  to start the 2nd half with forwards Willie Cauley-Stein and Trey Lyles with Dakari Johnson at Center. The 'Cats took off  starting on a 10-0 2nd half run to start and never looked back.

The #BBN would out score the 'Horns 37-25 in the 2nd half for a 63-51 win but it Cauley-Stein that was dominant. The Junior center/power forward had a game-high 21 points with a dozen boards. He also had five thefts and three block taking the Rupp Arena "Hustle Board" back with him for the cool down after the game in the Ice Tub. Cauley-Stein has NBA Scouts drooling with comparisons to current Nuggets PF Kenneth the "MAN-imal" Faried qualities and he is much longer as Faried maybe goes 6-8 wit Willie a true 6-11.

Hookem' Horns was led by PF/SF Jonathan Holmes 14 points and five boards as the only 'Horn in double figures. Ballyhooed Freshman Myles Turner of Euless, Texas Trinity HS (#2 in ESPN 100 of 2014) had just six points and five boards.

UK moves to 8-0 while the 'Horns fall to 7-1...
