The Charlotte Bobcats might finally be heading North for good as it took them to get Rich Cho (from Rip City Blazers working under then Prez Larry Miller who went back to Jordan Brand as President) doing his thing at GM and a Free Agent Monster Pick Up that went under the Logo Radar in Big AL Jefferson from Prentiss, Mississippi.
The 'Cats knowing of they win vs the Wiz they would move from #7 to #6 and drop the Wizards behind them. They did as it took an Extra Frame and big nights from the 'Cats two Stars. Leading 32-18 after one the Wizards came screaming bak in the 3rd after trailing 54-41 at the break. Wiz Big Marcin Gortat from Poland led the the Wizardry with a game-high 27 points and hauling in fourteen Oranges. The Wiz trailed just 71-66 after three. It was then Gortat's "J" that put the Wiz up 87-85 with under ten seconds to go only for Big AL to strike for the 'Cats top send it into Extras. In Extras Kemba Walker scored five of the seven points as the Wiz went stone cold scoring on a John Wall Free Throw...'Cats 94-88.
Big Al led the 'Cats with 20 points and eighteen boards. Walker went for 17 points and waited on a dozen tables as the 'Cats were +30 from the Arc hitting eleven to the Wizards one. Trevor Booker added to Gortat's 27 as he went for 16 points with Wall-Star going Triple-Double 14 points, twelve boards, and eleven assists.
'Cats move to 40-38 as do the Wizards with Charlotte owning the tiebreaker...
