There is nothing like end to end action in Playoff Hockey especially in extras and the Blackhawks have the Second City once again on edge and feeling "Indian Head Fever". Behind a Patrick Kane Winner in extras on a Wrister the Hawks tie their best of seven series with the Blues at 2-2.
With the score 0-0 after one and almost midway through the 2nd the Hawks put up two goals by Andrew Shaw and Patrick Kane to make it 2-0 Hawks. Only to see the Blues strike twice in a 1:09 between goals late in the 2nd as well to make it 2-2 behind Vladimir Tarasenko and Maxim LaPierre.
In the 3rd the Blues finally take the lead with at the 12:26 mark behind a wrister from Tarasenko again looking like Red Wings and fellow Russian Pavel Datsyuk. Only for the Hawks to tie the game in regulation just over the 16 minute mark as Bryan Bickell gets a redirect Tip-In to make it 3-3 as we moved into Extras. That's when Kane walked in only like the "Bison City Mullet" can..."Light the Lamp" young stunner and game time as we send Blue Notes Nation an Edible Arrangement for that 50 minute flight back to the muddy Mississippi River.
Crawford was top-notch except for that glitch he had at the end of the 2nd frame saving 30 of 33 shots. Ryan Miller saved 30 of 34 shots for the Blue Notes as the series now is the best two out of three as we get Game #5 Friday April 25th in the Lou.
