Yes the Grizz came back from the Logo dead as they end the game on a huge run to send the game into extras. In extras with a rosters full of "Fight for Larry" Bling the Spurs strike like only the Spurs do. Team Grit and Grind PG Mike Conley Jr. goes O-Zone Layer but the "Grind Father" Grizz 2G Tony Allen gets a DNP-Coach's Decision.
Behind a 24 point and seventeen rebound performance Tim Duncan continues to amaze as he led the Spurs in both categories playing inspired just under 39 minutes (you don't think that Game 6 loss in the 2013 "Fight for Larry" doesn't eat at Dunc...Tear the Club up!). Marco Belinelli was arguably the pick up of the year as he had 19 points with Boris Diaw and Patty Mills each adding 11. The Spurs hit the Winner's Circle but shooting over %50 as they had 17 turnovers and shot under 70% from the Stripe and the inability to stop that 4th frame Grizz Run uncharacteristic of the Spurs. in an 82-game trek that is bound to happen.
Mike Conley Jr led with a game-high 30 points as he quietly emerges in a Point Guard Driven League as a Point God. Z-Bo added 17 points and eight rebounds as D-League Pick Up James Johnson adds 15. The Grizz have been fighting all season an Identity Crisis under a new direction adding to the fact that the 2012-13 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Marc Gasol is out...that adds to the Grizz Misery. The Grizz had a shot but just didn't make the play at the end as the Spurs beat them to the punch on a Manu Ginoboli game-winning Lay-Up.
