The Chicago Blackhawks have lost their edge slightly as they have been up and down the last week or so and that up and down play continued in Montreal, Quebec on Saturday Night. The Habs hit the Winner's Circle with a 2-1 victory in an Extra Frame as the Hawks careless play between Star Defensemen Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrooks as the Habs finally get one more behind Crawford.

It was back and forth as both Net Minders out on a show but it was Homeboy Corey Crawford of the Blackhawks that brought his A-Game. Craw-Dad stopped 36-38 shots including one late in the 3rd period with no Stick he used his glove and then his skates for the Tip-In Shot in miraculous fashion. The Hawks had their chances but sloppy on the Power Play and behind their own Blue Line caught up to them. They only shot 20 times as Habs Net Minder Carey Price stopped 19 of them. Andrei Markov scores both goals for the Habs.

The Hawks get a beautiful pass from Captain Serious to Boss Hoss to tie the game up midway through the 3rd after a goal was disallowed as Michael Handzus was called for interference. The Hawks fall to 29-8-10 and that is 68 points just one ahead of the surging Blue Notes of the Lou. The Habs move to 26-15-5 and 57 points as they are 3rd in the Atlantic.

Next up for "Commit to the Indian" four home games in a row starting with #HereComeTheOilers on Sunday January 12 at 7pm ET.
