The San Diego Chargers had -11 rushing yards in the 1st half and explain that. If you would have told me that before the Teams took the field I would have told you the Broncos crush the Bolts by 40 plus. Yes the Bolts made it a game in the last and final frame but dealing with a Peyton Manning-Led Offense...it's slim pickings trying to his the Winner's Circle.

Behind a suffocating and new and improved Pass "D" as he Front has been there for the duration...the Broncos dominate the San Diego Chargers for three frames as the score is no indication how lopsided a game it really was. The Broncos led 14-0 at the half including a Manning Mile High Red Zone Pick bouncing off Broncos WR Eric Decker right before the Half. Then a Eric Decker what looked to be a Punt Return TD tripping over "Blades of Grass" and you out those two together that would have been 28-0. Still Manning and the Broncos controlled the entire game until late.

The next NFL M.V.P...Manning threw for a modest 230 yards on 25 for 36 and two TDs and a red Zone Pick. Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno still relevant as he rushed for 82 yards on 23 carries and a score. Thomas & Thomas (Broncos WR Demaryuis Thomas and TE Julius Thomas) combined for 130 yards receiving as they grabbed 14 Pigs and one of those were in the Bolts End Zone. Another Key Stat was the Broncos held the Pig for 36 minutes to the Bolts 24 minutes and you are not going to beat Manning with that number not in your favor.

The Bolts WR Keenan Allen who is Bluedude Sportstalk's NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year (sorry Cheese Head Eddie) was dynamic as he caught 6 Pigs for 142 and two of those Pigs were in the Broncos End Zone as he pointed to the back of his Chargers Duds after ever score...Keenan Allen is the name! The Bolts numbers are misleading as they started playing in the last and final frame on Offense if your name wasn't Keenan Allen. The Bolts had a nice run and have something to build on as they will lose O-Coordinator Ken Whisenhunt to the Lions by late Monday Night or early Tuesday Morning.

Broncos move on to host Tom Brady and the New England Patriots next Sunday for a chance to get to Big Bowl 48.

360 Degrees...CBS Color Man Phil Simms was eluding to the fact that Bolts WR Keenan Allen was going to be a Safety at 'Bama or a WR at Cal as he choice Cal coming out of High School in the State of North Carolina.  Allen's Older Brother helped him make that Decision as he was Cal's Starting QB at the time.
