The Eagles get into the Tourney and win the NFC East but it wasn't like they walked in as the Dallas Cowboys gave the Birds all they could handle and then some. The Birds struggled in the 1st frame only scoring a FG but that Eagles "D" held serve as the Eagles then get cooking in the 2nd frame with a FG and a TD as the Cowboys also get it moving with a TD and FG of its own. Score...17-10 at the break Eagles with the Cowboys having a little momentum on their side.

The 3rd frame of the 2nd half as all the Cowboys as they put a semi-long drive together and a short one and put up two FGs to make it 17-16 going into the 4th. The Eagles then go right to their Bread and Margarine on 11 plays and 60 yards capped of by Eagles RB Bryce Brown's 6-yard scamper to put the Birds up 24-16.

The Cowboys come right back with the game in the balance and in just a little over two minutes and some change get a 4th and 9 conversion to WR Dez Bryant for a 8 yard slant that went for a 32-yard TD as the Eagles went Casino Blitz (All In..Man Coverage on All Players eligible). The 'Boys missed the 3rd down conversion to make it 24-22 Eagles and the Cowboys needed to stop the Eagles and they did on the next series to set up this.

Cowboys QB Kyle Orton to this point has played remarkably well and then on the last drive where all they needed was a FG Orton throws a INT on a slant route intended for Cowboys WR Miles Austin to end the game. Eagles win by the final 24-22 and the Cowboys go home yet again at 8-8.

Eagles RB LeSean "Shady" McCoy gets the NFL Rushing Title with 1,607 yards Nick Foles now will face Drew Brees in the NFC Wild Card Game #1 on Saturday January 4th at the Linc in Philly.
