The Golden State Warriors took full advantage of a beat up Pelicans Team that is without two of its Top Six Players in Anthony Davis and Tyreke Evans. The Warriors wasted no time in putting up a 57-Piece to the Pelicans 39 at the break. NOLA was never a threat after that as GSW's Point God and Blue-Collar All-Star PF went to work for a lop-sided 104-93 GSW Win.
Warriors point Guard Steph Curry was on his game as he began his run to the 2013-14 NBA All-Star Game after the 2012-13 All-Star Game where he was not voted in by coaches. Steph had 28 points and waited on twelve tables with only two Money Balls. Warriors Power Forward and 2012-13 All-Star David Lee had 21 points and seventeen boards as he continues to put up consistent numbers as the Warriors hands-down best Front Court Player. Klay-T added 16 points while back-up PF/C Mo Speights chipped in with 12 points.
The Pelicans just didn't have enough players to match up with GSW as PF and Shooter Ryan Anderson led the Pelicans with 21 points and six boards. Big Jason Smith added 12 as Jrue Holiday and Austin Rivers chipped in with 11 apiece. The Pelicans trying to get over the .500 mark in the West as Wins are at a premium. Neither team shot well as GSW had a +14 in rebounds and a +5 in the Offensive rebounds.
The Warriors move to 14-12 as they will get a fair share of Home Games coming up after being on the Road a lot in November and December. The Pelicans fall to 11-12 and they just need to get Anthony Davis and Tyreke Havoc back into the saddle.
