The Game was at the Blazers Pace for most of the night until the 4th and final frame and that is kudos to the Champs 305 forcing their style late on Rip City. The game came down to Blazers SF Nicolas Batum hitting two from the stripe as the Heat go up 107-105 to set up the game-winner from Heats PF/C Chris Bosh.
Bosh setting a screen high at the Key for a dribbling left to right Wade County as Wade flips it back and Bosh from Eugene, Oregon sinks it only like Champs do in Winning Time. Bosh ends up with a Monster Night 37 points as he grabbed ten Oranges. Wade County goes 16 points and seven helpers as B-Easy nets 12, Hollywood Cole 11, and Shard Lewis 10 for the Heat. The Heat bench was needed as they responded with a 34-18 advantage as King James sat this one out with a sore groin. The Heat used a 25-19 4th frame to close as they just stayed close enough to make a play to win the game.
The Blazers in that last play guarding Wade County as I would have let the two or fouled him but not let the Money Ball. Chalmers, Sugar Ray, and Cole were out there as Decoys to get to Bosh who is an excellent Money Ball Shooter. Nonetheless the Blazers get 23 points from Matthews and 22 points an seven boards from L-Train. The Blazers had a +9 advantage with the Money Ball a +6 on the glass, and +10 in Attempts from the line playing after a Home-Cooked Meal and still could not cash in. They did let the Heat shoot 50% plus from the field and the Arc and the Heat shot 90% plus from the line and that is staying Ziploc-tight coming out of the Motel.
Heat move to 23-7 while the Blazers fall to 24-6...
