Here we go as the early Slate NFL Week 17 starts out with NFL Week 17 Mayhem as the 11-4 Carolina Panthers travel back to QB Cam's Hometown for a tilt with the Atlanta Falcons playing on "Spoiler Alert" and "Fan Appreciation Week".  If the Panthers win they are NFC South Champions and the #2 Overall Seed in the NFC in the "Fight for George". If the Panthers lose and Saints win the Saints will assume the #2 Seed in the NFC and be crowned NFC South Champions. I already know what the Falcons are thinking.

The Panthers know what's at stake and they will not have #1 WR Steve Smith in this one with a soft hamstring. They need the Run Game with RB DeAngelo Williams and QB Cam north of 100 yards. The Falcons played well enough last week to win @ San Fran in the "Stick" but Bad Teams find  way to lose 24-7-365 and they found a way to lose that one when it looked to be all but the Falcons Game to lose. Top Defenses travel in the NFL Playoffs and the Panthers have one. Can the Falcons move the Pig on the Panthers in this one with WR Roddy White, RB Steven Jackson, and TE Tony Gonzalez in his last NFL Game? Can the Panthers find enough Offense to beat the Falcons as WRs Brandon LaFell and Ted Ginn Jr. must step up?
