Yes it didn't long for me to figure out why Andrei Kirilenko would leave $10 Million to shop himself around to a winner as it is getting close for him to call it a career. Well Fellow Russian Owner Mikhail Prokhorov met with his fellow Countrymen and the deal was done. Kirilenko commonly known as by his Nike Scooby Doos as "AK 47" because of his tenacious defense and athleticism couldn't pass up playing for a possible chip. He now has a greater chance of rolling deep into the Playoffs with the Nets then most Teams at this stage in free agency. That was a gamble that AK 47 and his agent took and it was a happy ending for both sides.

Remember the 90s Lakers with the likes of Eddie Jones (Temple) and Rick Fox (UNC) and that lead guard names Nick Van Exel (Cincinnati U)  commonly referred to in the Forum as "Nick at Night". Well the Lakers strike again with the 2013 -14 Version as they sign Shooting Guard/Small Forward and a Native of L.A. a well as an Alum of the "Men of Troy" Nick Young. Young will fill the void left by that scrub of Shooting Guard the "Black Mamba" aka Vino.

Now on the front end of that News was the Lakers knowing the chances without a healthy Kobe diminish in getting a chip want to save even more Cap Space. They Amnesty Small Forward M.W.P. as the Artist formerly known as Ron Artest for the 2013-14 Season. Ron Ron would have gotten a $7 Million Salary but his Cap Hit would've have been somewhere around $12 million and the Lakers are already in the Luxury Tax Threshold. M.W.P. will land possibly in the Brooklyn...Lol!
