The Players getting their names called on April 25, 2013 on the first day of the NFL Draft will be a life long memory. There is also those who will either remember not being there and getting the call. Some will also get the call on the 2nd day and be left waiting in the Green Room on Day One which is awfully painful to watch. Those Twenty-Three Players who chose to show up to NYC instead of having the 2013 NFL Draft Party at their Family's House:
DE Ezekiel Ansah BYU
WR Tavon Austin WVU
OG Jonathan Cooper UNC
OT Eric Fisher Central Mich.
DT Shariff Floyd Florida
OT D.J. Fluker Alabama
OT Luke Joeckel Texas A&M
OT Lane Johnson Oklahoma
DE Dion Jordan Oregon
RB Eddie Lacy Alabama *
QB EJ Manuel FSU
CB Dee Milliner Alabama
DE Ki Ki Mingo LSU
WR Cordarrelle Patterson Tenn
S Eric Reid LSU
CB Xavier Rhodes FSU
DT Sheldon Richardson Mizzou
QB Geno Smith WVU
CB Darius Slay Miss State *
S Kenny Vaccarro Texas
OG Chance Warmack Alabama
OT Menelik Watson FSU *
DE Bjoern Werner FSU
Note: * Of the Twenty-Three Players there are Three that should be concerned and maybe stayed at Home to watch it on T.V.
Players that chose to stay at home because they felt more comfortable being around Family...
DT Star Lotulelei Utah
OLB Jarvis Jones UGA
ILB Alec Ogletree UGA
WR Robert Woods USC
WR Keenan Allen Cal
S Matt Elam Florida
TE Tyler Eifert ND
Note: 23 Invitees from NFL.com
As dominant as UGA Bulldogs Defense was they should have Jones and Ogletree go 1st round. Woods or Allen should go to the Vikings at 23 or 25. Elam will not get past the Packers. Star should be in the Top 15 hands down. Eifert could be a Falcon, Bear, or Even 49er. Where is Manti Te'o he couldn't have turned down the Draft Green Room in NYC....
