The 2013 Dr. Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Inductees were announced and the Class of 2013 is well-rounded from Coaching Legends, to NBA Royalty, and International Star, a Women's Star, and a Deputy NBA Commissioner.

The 2013 Class to Inducted Summer of 2013 in Springfield, Mass

PG GARY "the GLOVE" PAYTON (pictured right) Seattle Supersonics...One of the best "On the Orange" Defenders in the Logo ever to lace them up. Also one of the Elite Trash-Talkers and he backed all that up. Led the Seattle Supersonics to the 1995-96 NBA Finals only to get beat by Air Jordan, Mr. Pip 33,  and the Bulls. Won the 2005-06 Title with the "Flash" (Dwayne Wade) and Shaq led Miami Heat. Olympic  Gold Medalist on the 1996 Olympic Team. And of course from the "Town" Basketball-Rich East Bay..Oakland, California.

SF BERNARD "BK BROILER" KING (pictured left) New York Knicks..the Original "Get Buckets" out of NYC and he could put 50 on you inn his sleep. One of the Top 5 Knicks of all-time and one of the greatest Scorers the Logo has ever seen. It didn't start in NYC though as he was the Co-Star of the Tennessee Volunteers "Ernie and Bernie" Show with Ernie Grunfeld (current GM of Washington Wizards). He also starred for the Washington Bullets and New Jersey Nets among others. e Albert King also played in the Logo but wasn't near as good as Big Brother the "BK Broiler".

COACH RICK PITINO Current Louisville Cardinals Coach...started at Providence and built his Brand from there and real College Coaching Legend who dipped into the NBA with the C's and Knicks. Has evolved into a True Players Coach and has numerous All-Americans. Going for Louisville's 2nd National Championship Tonight (Coaching Legend and HOF Denny Crum won the 1996 Title) and has taken both the Cards and The In-State Rival Kentucky Wildcats to Final Fours. Won the 1996 National Championship with the Cats.

COACH JERRY the "SHARK" TARKANIAN...UNLV Runnin' Rebels...he built a a Powerhouse College Basketball Team in the Desert and arguably had one of the Top Five Teams of all-time in the 1989-90 headlined by National POY Larry "Grand Ma Ma" Johnson, Stacy "Spider-Man" Augmon, and NBA TV, CBS Sports, and TNT Basketball Analyst Greg Anthony. Tark was simply one of the best and regardless what the NCAA thinks. He only coached the NBA for one season and that was in 1992 the Spurs. Also had the Fresno State Bulldogs on the Map from 1995-2002.

COACH GUY V. LEWIS Houston Cougars...the Man who built the Cougars into a 80s Powerhouse with the likes of now NBA HOFs Akeem "The Dream" Olajuwon of Lagos, Nigeria and Houston Native Cyde "the Glyde" Drexler. He best teams were in the early to mid 80s and a group that Dunked so much they had their own Fraternity called "Phi Slamma Jamma". With Drexler's High-Flying Acrobats he wasn't the only as there was Benny Anders, Andre Franklin, Micheal Young, and Larry Micheaux to name a few also Greg "Cadillac" Anderson. Lewis dominted the Old Southwest Confernce. Also coached NBA HOF and Washington Bullets great Elvin "Big E" Hayes.
