It all starts with and ends with the Guard play in this one. Can both Siva and Smith dictate Tempo and offensively can Siva produce on a night where he and Smith will be counted on heavily? Michigan PG Trey Burke has to handle that Cards Pressure does Hardaway Jr. and others. Now when they break the Pressure and get the advantage can they covert a high percentage to points?

The Arc will also tell the tale as both Teams shoot it from deep extremely well. For the Cards its Smith, Henderson, Hancock (20 pts on Wichita State in Semis), Siva, and Blackshear. The Wolverines have Burke, Hardaway Jr., Robsinson III, Albrecht, and Stauskas. Both teams must defend the Arc and also knockdown the Clean looks at a high percentage.

The Pace also is key as the Cards want it to go helter skelter at an erratic pace but the Wolverines also want it fast but not as fast as Louisville. Burke has to control the Tempo if there is numbers in transition they need to run their sets and be patient. The Cards also need to attack the Wolverines D especially the Interior.

Rebounding will also be monumental as the Cards have the advantage with the likes of C Gorgui Dieng and PF Chane Behanan. The Wolverines will counter with C Mitch McGary (who has been the Wolverines best player in the Tourney) but he will need help the way Louisville attacks the glass.
