Baltimore ORIOLES @ Tampa Bay RAYS
The Baltimore Orioles come in as one of the two picks to unseat the Yanks as the other being the Toronto Blue Jays. O's Skip Showalter has a plethora of riches starting with the line up that is somewhat young and very experienced all of a sudden. Led by CF Adam Jones, Back Stop Matt Wieters, and First Baseman Chris Davis the O's definitely has what it takes to make a Legit run at the AL EAST and the AL Pennant. Young O's Stud Manny Machado hasn't even scratched the surface as he should be ready to make an even bigger impact in 2013. The O's Pitching is is led by Ace Jason Hammel and the Rotation is solid. Then on the back end the man is named Jim Johnson...enough said.
The Tampa Bay Rays lost more players but this season might be a little different. Gone is CF B.J. Upton and his bat and fielding. Also gone is RHP and #2 in the rotation James Shields and who on the Rays will fill both of those Large Pair of Scooby Doos. They have the reigning AL Cy Young Winner in David Price (pictured right) and the Dominican Daddy in Saves Man Fernando Rodney but they will need more to step up. That Rays Line Up is centered around Hot Corner Evan Longoria and we will see if he can stay healthy and carry the Rays.
