The New York Knicks are playing their best Ball of the season and it comes at the right time in late March into April. The Knicks are riding a season high 8-game win streak and they need this one as they trail the Pacers by 1/2 game for the #2 seed in the East. The Heat beat the Spurs on Sunday Night without King James, Wade County, and Regular Mario and they are playing extremely well.

This is a measuring stick for the Knicks to see if they can meet, greet, and possibly beat the Heat in 305 as Winning Time nears. Of course the Heat look at it like its just another game on the schedule but you don't want to let a potential foe in Winning Time think they can beat you especially in April.

PLAYBOOK

Since the last time the Knicks and Heat met the Knicks have found another bonafide Scorer in get Shots" J.R. Smith. Smith is playing like another former Knicks without Patrick in the Middle bailing him out all day everyday...John "Cart Attendant" Starks.  Wade County also seems to have his explosiveness back and that should be the #2 match to watch in this one.

Knicks PG "Everybody loves Raymond of New MSG" has a slight edge in his match up with Heat PG "Regular Mario" if he stays Regular. The Knicks will also counter with J-Kidd and 21 SHUMPstreet who still looks like he is compensating from a athletic perspective from that surgically repaired ACL. The Heat have "Hollywood Cole" [playing behind Mario and Sugar Ray Allen.

The Bully of New MSG..'Melo Anthony will have his hands full tonight vs King James. The Knicks need to use the Bully on some trips as a decoy to get others involved. They will play King James with 'Melo, K-Mart of #KnicksTape, and possibly 21 SHUMPstreet. Can the Knicks slow down King James and at the same time keep 'Melo in the Flow?

The Knicks are chasing one team and that's the Pacers and its simply a bigger picture for them in the grand scheme of things. The Heat are trying to put the notion of they will have the NBA's Best record as the Spurs trail them for #1 in the Logo as we go to press by 3 1/2 games.
