When I first Glanced at this Week's MLB Schedule on Sunday for this Week I thought about the Yankees 7 Game Road trip that was Make or Break. So far the Bronx Bombers are 1-2 having avoided the Broom and Dust Pan in Tampa getting Game 3. Now the Plot thickens as the New Orioles await arguably the Most-Anticipated Yanks/O's Series in over 20 Years. The Only thing missing is Managers the Late Billy Martin and Earl Weaver with a Sell-Out Crowd at Old Memorial Stadium.

The Yankees come in 1 Game Ahead of the O's and 2.5 ahead of the Rays. The Bombers have been struggling with Starting Pitching and a consistent Offense. A 10 + Game Lead on July 18 and now they have a Month to fend off the O's and that starts Tonight as the O's have been playing as good as anyone in the AL except for maybe the A's and Rays.

O's Skip Buck Showalter has done an excellent job of keeping his relatively young Group locked in on Day to Day Operations and not looking at things around them and Teams in front or back of them.      Yanks Skip Girardi at the same token has been handling Damage Control as the Yanks have only stopped the Bleeding at times and they need to get at Least 3 to make a Statement anything less that that would be Uncivilized for Team 27 Chips. Both Teams know Head to Head is the Only way to Control what the Standings look like.

YANKS @ O's 4 Piece with No Martin or Weaver is sponsored by...Pressure...What's Pressure? I don't even know what that is..do you feel Pressure? I don't feel Pressure. Pressure please! This is One Series of a few more.

YANKS @ O's Preview

September 6, 2012
NYY Phelps (3-4) vs BAL Hammel (8-6) 7:05PM ET

September 7, 2012
NYY Hughes (13-12) vs BAL Chen (12-8) 7:05PM ET

September 8, 2012
NYY Sabathia (13-4) vs BAL Saunders (7-11) 7:05PM ET

September 9, 2012
NYY Garcia (7-6) vs BAL Britton (5-1) 1:35PM ET

The Series will be predicated on Pitching and Defense the Same Mix that will get you a Deep Run in the Fall Classic Tourney. Timely Hitting is of the Essence as well and the Bronx Bombers have C.C. and Hughes going in Two of the Four games. The O's have Chen and Hammel going in Two of the Four games. C.C. pitched well vs Rays but leads the World in No Decisions.

This Series will tell us a lot about Both Teams moving forward and the All the Pressure is on the Yankees except of Course #2 in Pinstripes always playing "SMOOTH OPERATOR" by Sade in his I-Pod.
