It looked like my prediction of 34-24 Falcons was going to hold up as Broncos QB Peyton Manning threw Three 1st Quarter Picks. Meanwhile the Falcons sliced and Diced as Falcons WR Roddy White showed all Sunday Viewers that Julio is the Future but right now let the Vet do what he do...8 Grabs for 102 Yards and 1 in the Orange Crush End Zone. Pay Homage to the Real Deal Roddy White before you get carried away with the Other Parts of the Falcons Roster.
Manning threw for 241 Yards and engineered Late Drives for Two Scores but it was too late as the damage had been done. The Broncos turn the Pigskin over repeatedly and in the Big Game you just can't do that. Broncos WRs Decker and Thomas combined for 12 Grabs and 131 Yards and a Score. The Falcons played a Defense Tonight engineered by D-Coordinator Mike Nolan that gave Peyton Fits all night. McGahee did pout 113 Yards on the Ground on 22 Carries and 1 in the Dirty Birds End Zone as he continues his Fountain of Youth Movement.
The Falcons escaped and the Question will be are they an ELITE Team moving forward and that Question will be asked by Week 8 or 9 the Midway Point. The Falcons wanted a Game that was a Barometer to see if they can not only Win but handle all what comes with being then Hunted or Hunter and they answered the bell. The Score was close but the Game really wasn't as the Falcons dominated most of the night.
The Broncos fall to 1-1 and will take on what some Analysts have listed as the Best Team in the AFC right now in the Houston Texans and former Broncos O-Coordinator Greg Kubiak. The Falcons will travel to the Murph in Diego to take on another 2-0 Outfit in the San Diego Chargers.
Call it what you want but Sunday Football 2K12 will be won by the Teams that are peaking in December not in September but it is Key to get off to a good start.
