The Vikes used an Aggressive Downhill Defense led by DE Jared "Sack Man" Allen and Kinnick Stadium (Iowa Hawkeyes) Alum ILB Chad Greenway (right) to defuse what looked to be a Dominant Type Offense and the 49ers were never in this one. Behind Avenger and Vikings RB "Super Purple People #28" All Day A.P.'s 5 carries for 86 Yards and PERCYland USA Harvin getting 9 Grabs for 89 Yards the Vikes rolled on Offense and they may have looked at All Day A.P. not even a Year removed from that Knee Injury as Toast. The Vikes also used Notre Dame Alum and TE Kyle Rudolph for 2 Red Zone Scores in the Niners End Zone.
The Niners couldn't stop Ponder but they couldn't not stop the Two Vikings you can't let beat you in A.P. and Percy and they did. Niners QB Alex Smith threw for 24 of 35 for 204 Yards but threw his 1st Pick since Decemeber 2011. The Niners just wee not as balanced as they have been as RB Gore had 12 Totes for 63 Yards but the had to abandon the Run due to playing behind all day.
Vikes Greenway was a One-Man Wrecking Crew with 10 Tackles, 3 Assisted, and 2 Red Jersey Collections. Teammate Jared Allen had a Red Jersey Collection as well.
The Niners were led by "Monsters Inside QBs" Duo of Bowman and Willis who combined for 12 Solo Tackles and 17 Assisted Tackles.
The Vikings just lined up and took the 49ERS on a Trip through 10K LAKES and the Niners are lucky it wasn't November and December. Both Teams move to 2-1 on the Season.
