The Vikings and Lead Man Leslie Frazier (the 1985 Super Bowl Chicago Bears Starting Corner) has the Minnesota Vikings flying high and he has the Avenger and you don't.
Just 9 Months ago with a Torn ACL and MCL Vikings RB Adrian Peterson had defied all odds and he continues to dazzle onlookers. All Day rushed for 102 Yards on 21 Carries with 18 yard Scamper being his longest to lead the Viking to an Unimpressive Win by Stats anyway 20-13 over the Lions.
The Vikes scored on a 105 Yard Opening Kick-Off Return from PercyLand USA Harvin and a Marcus Sherels 77 Yard Punt Return TD and that was almost all the Scoring in this one. Lions QB Matthew Stafford scored on a QB Sneak late but that wasn't enough to overcome the resurgent Vikes who are now 3-1.
QB Numbers for the Vikings Christian Ponder were 16 for 26 and 111 Yards and none in the Lions End Zone. Ponder continues to impress with his QB Savvy and Poise in the Pocket and he is making the Right Play when it presents itself. Lions QB Stafford is living under the Old Adage," Don't tell me how many Yards you threw for but tell me the Yards that led to a Score". He again throws for 300 Plus Yards but No Scores. The Lions Limited Running Game has them a One Trick Pony on Sunday and them Ponies don't win too many Races. Lions WR "MEGAtron" Calvin Johnson did all he could do with 5 Grabs for 54 Yards and No Scores.
Vikes Defense again comes up Big as the Vikes record 5 Red Jerseys and "Monsters Inside QBs" Nominee Jared Allen of "Jared in the Box" Fame had 1 of the 5 Sacks. The Lions move to 1-3 and the you would think they could right the Ship so that Thanksgiving Day is a Meaningful Game since there is no NFL HOF Lions RB BARRiliscious Sanders to watch anymore.
