A CUP of JOE in the SHOW Report #155...SWINGIN' A's had a W in their Sights until the BRONX ZOO Magic...A's score 4 in the 13th only to see PINSTRIPES score 4 in the Same Frame...then YANKS get Infield Error for a Walk-Off in 14th #ALPennantDrama

The Bronx Zoo Faithful hung around to see a dandy in the Bronx on Saturday as the Yanks were not to be denied. Each Team uses 9 at the Bump and the Contest lasted nearly 6 hours. After 31 Hits, 19 Runs, and 7 Bombs later the Yanks still lead the AL East by 1 Game as the O's dispose of the Carmines at Fenway as well.

The Yanks used not One but Two Bombs from OF Raul Ibanez (right) and the 2nd Bomb was to tie the Game in the Bottom of the 13th at 9 and it was of the 2 Run Variety. The Yanks then get a Fielding Error by the A's First Baseman to end the Game 10-9 in the 14th. Pandemonium all over the Zoo as the Yankees keep winning as do the Orioles.

The Athletics did all what they were suppose to do to win the Game now they have lost the first Two in the Series they have the Halos breathing behind their Necks only out 3 full games. The A's also miss a chance to gain ground on the AL West leading Texas Rangers who do not play until 9:10PM ET in Seattle.

Good thing for the O's is that they keep winning and they will keep pushing their AL Wild Card lead to the point where they will at least have a 1-Game Play-in to see who goes onto the Divisional Round. The Yanks will try to go for the Sweep on Sunday as the A's need this one just to fend off the Halos in the Wild Card for the 2nd Spot.
