It's been a long time since the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds had meaningful games this late in the Season that impact both Division and Wild Card. This will be an Action-Packed 3-Game Set on the Ohio River for the NL Central Lead.

The Pirates come in just off the Pace of the Reds but have played some .600 like Ball since the Reds were playing their .850 Ball. Now the Reds lead the NL Central  by 3.5 as the Reds have the best Record in the SHow and the Pirates have the 2nd Best Record in the NL.

The 3-Game Set Pitching Preview for Buccos and Red Legs:

August 3rd
Pirates Rodriguez (7-9) vs Reds Latos (9-3) 7:10PM ET

August 4th
Pirates McDonald (10-5) vs Reds Leake (4-7) 7:10PM ET

August 5th
Pirates Bedard (5-12) vs Reds Bailey (9-6) 1:10PM ET

Pirates will not have Burnett as he will miss his turn during the Series and the Reds will not have Cueto as he also misses his turn. The Pirates will have their 2012 NL MVP Candidate in Andrew McCutchen and the Reds will not have their NL MVP Candidate Joey Votto as he is on the DL at least being reported by MLB.com Mid-August.

Both Teams know what at stake and forth NL this is Must-See as you have to take Full Advantage of the Head to Head Match Ups when they present themselves.
