The Big Markets spend spend spend and the Little Markets have to be a lot more cautious on where they put every Dime and Penny for that matter. Is the Equation if you Spend more you get more at least from a Winning Perspective or not?

The 2012 Payrolls for the Division and Wild Leaders in the Show is sponsored by...The Decisions Teams make at the Top doesn't always pan out on the Diamond so watch who your giving them Checks to.

The AL Division and Wild Card Leaders w/Team Payroll Number
Note: Payroll Ranking out of 30 Teams in ( )

The NL Division and Wild Card Leaders w/Team Payroll Number

NL West GIGANTES $117,936,667 (7)

NL Wild Card (1) BRAVES $82,409,942 (16)
NL Wild Card (2) REDBIRDS $110,297,862 (9)

Out of the 10 Teams as of Right Now going to the Playoffs...Four are in the Top 10, Four are in the Median or close to and 2 are in the Bottom 1/3 of the Show.

One of the Teams in that Bottom 1/3 are the Cincinnati Reds who just miss the Median Payroll but also have the Best Record in the Show as we go to press at 79-52.

Both the Rangers and Bronx Bombers are in the Top 5 in Payroll so that would be Money well spent but if you ask the Brass of Both just winning the Division is Fools Gold as the Real Barometer is winning the Fall Classic 2012.

Note: The Dodgers Payroll has jumped Considerably and would move right into that Top 5 and with my calculations right above the Halos at around $157 Million adding just the Overall Salary of A-Gon, Beckett, Punto, and Crawford.

The Reds, A's, Nats, Braves, and Orioles are getting a Bang for their Buck as they are all below the Median.

Total Payroll for 30 Teams in MLB is $2.862 Billion for 2012 with a Median Payroll of $95.4 Million for the 2012 Season.

Note: Team Payroll for 2012 from ESPN.go.com/mlb...the Calculations of Overall Payrolls for all 30 Teams and the Median calculated by the Bluedude for Bluedude Sportstalk.
