#FlySIXERSFly

Move over #FlyEaglesFly you have company and the Fly Guys on Ice as the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers 2014-15 NBA team grabs win #1 with a stunning 85-77 win over the Timberwolves. It was reigning NBA Rook of the Year M.C.W. who messed around and almost got a triple-double that led the charge.

The Sixers led 23-13 after one only to put up nine points in the 2nd frame and trailed 34-32 at the break. Philly though smelling a possible "W" here hung tough as they led at the end of three 57-56. Sixers PG Michael Carter-Williams had 14 at the need of three as he went 20 points, nine rebounds, and nine helpers on his way to a Sixers player of the game...Lol!

The 4th frame saw the Sixers trailing 60-59 early in the 4th and 75-73 with just over two minutes remaining as 'Wolves combo guard Mo Williams hit a money ball to give 10K Lakes the lead. The Sixers bounced right back on a KJ McDaniels money ball taking a 76-75 lead they wouldn't relinguish winning going away 85-77.

Robert Covington (Who?) added 17 points behind M.C.W. for the Sixers. Thaddeus Young led the 'Wolves with 16 points and former Louisville "Big" Gorgui Deng added 15 points and sixteen rebounds looking like Dikembe Mutumbo doing so.

The numbers were relatively close across the board as the Sixers missed nine free throws with the 'Wolves shooting 82% from the stripe and still won by eight. Sixers move to 1-17 while the 'Wolves fall to a disappointing 4-13.
