The Florida Marlins move to 2-0 on the young season as they get a solid outing from RHP Nathan Eovaldi. He goes six strong striking out allowing two runs with just one free pass. He contained that middle of that Rockies Line Up somewhat as Cuddyer, Car-Go, and Tulo combined to go 3 for 11 from the dish scoring three runs with two RBIs.
The Marlins got to Rockies Starter Brett Anderson as he went six allowing four runs (3 ER) striking out two walking one. The Fish 4-7 Hitters did the damage going 4 for 12 scoring two runs as Marlins 2014 Free Agent Pick Up Jarrod Saltalmacchia was 1 for 3 scoring a run and one RBI.
The Marlins Pen slams the door allowing a run in three innings with Fightin' Fish "Captain Save-A-Game Steve Cishek collecting save 31 of 2014. Marlins improve to 2-0 as the Rox fall to 0-2.
