The Chicago White Sox are no where near the pick or the favorite for the AL Central Crown but what they are in 2014 is "Chicks dig Long Ball" or nothing. The Chi-Sox and Tribe get good outing on the Bump only for the Pens to blow Save Chances and that is not a good look!
The White Sox leading the Show in Bombs with 16 didn't disappoint in the Rubber Game at the "Cell" on the South Side of the 'Go. Both teams scored in the 4th inning as Tribe CF Michael Brantley goes Solo Shot to make it 1-0. The Sox in the bottom half of the Inning gets an RBI Single from Dayan Viciedo to make it 1-1. That score would stand all the way until the bottom of the 8th when the South Siders get what they thought was the game-winning HR a Solo Bomb from Sox 2B/3B Marcus Semien to make it 2-1 Sox.
With both Starters well gone as Tribe Starter Corey Kluber went 7 1/2 innings allowing two runs on eight hits while striking out six allowing the 8th Inning Solo Shot stood to take the loss. Sox Starter Carlos Quintana went six strong allowing one run on five hits as he walked two and truck out six was going to get the No Decision. The Tribe scores on a single and wild pitch to take back the lead at 3-2 only for Indians Reliever John Axford to blow the save. The Sox get that dreaded Lead-Off Walk and with one out Sox SS Alexei Ramirez goes Walk-Off Two-Run HR to win 4-3.
The Pale Hose added to that ML Leading 14 Bombs and moves that to 16 while also moving to 7-6. The Tribe falls to 6-7 with Save Man Axford taking the loss.
