The Denver Nuggets had the Spurs right where they needed them to be at the end of three 78-72. Then the Spurs doing what the Spurs do erupted for a 30-16 closing frame as inexperience plagued the Nugs down the stretch. The Spurs win going away 102-94 as they follow the lead of Stars Tony Parker and Tim Duncan.

Spurs Point God TP9 led all scorers with 24 points as he dished out six helpers with Dunc adding 17 points, eight boards, and eight helpers. The Nugs just couldn't stop the Spurs run in the final frame behind 20 points and eight helpers from Nugs PG Ty Lawson. The "Manimal" Kenneth Faried added 15 points and eight assists as the Nugs are still looking for Win #1 in the Brian Shaw Era. The Spurs also get 14 points from Kawhi Leonard and 12 points from Tiaggo Splitter to round out a balanced Spurs Attack.

The Nugs out rebounded the Spurs but 22 turnovers doomed them as they were 7 more than the Spurs. The Nugs fall to 0-3 and the Spurs move to a quiet unassuming business as usual 3-1. Spurs go back to back as they head back home and play the Suns as the Nugs will get the Hawks on Thursday night.
