The OKC Thunder gave Point God Uncle Russ the night off especially after the horrific injury to Bulls PG Derrick Rose as Uncle Russ is coming off that same injury. Needless to say the Thunder didn't need KD or Ibaka or even the Thunder Dancers for this one as they put the Jazz in the Corner and the Jazz Corner man threw in the Towel. The Fight Doctor Bernie Pacheco said enough was enough as OKC wins 95-73 and it wasn't that close.
The Thunder led 47-30 at the break and 75-43 after three frames as Jazz Lead Man Ty Corbin had to be thinking of Southwest Airlines at this point. The Jazz made it respectable by closing on a 30-20 advantage and still lost by 22 points. KD had 19 points and nine boards and Ibaka chips in with 17 points and eleven boards. Regulator Youngsters Lamb (15 pts), Jones III (13 pts), and Reggie Jackson starting and filling in for Russ added 10 points and seven helpers.
The Jazz get 10 points from Enes Kanter and Rudy Gobert. The Jazz Starters had 29 points as KD and Ibaka had 36 between them. The Jazz also shot 45% from the Charity Stripe at a 13/29 clip. That is inexcusable for an NBA Team to shoot that bad coming out of the Motel and I don't want to hear the Jazz are young...they are Free Throws for a reason.
The Regulators OKC move to 9-3 and the Jazz fall to 1-11 and who gets the Ax first...Ty Corbin of the Jazz or Mike Woodson of the Knicks...Haha?
