The Bears down 10-0 when there was nearly a two-hour delay came out the tunnel ready to fight and that's exactly what the Navy and Orange of 312 did. The Bears scored 13 in the 2nd frame with the Ravens adding seven to take a 17-13 lead into the Break. The Bears and Ravens with poor field conditions turned it into the Muck Bowl (Type Muck Bowl or Muck City Bowl into the Left Search Box above) no one scored in the 3rd frame. The Bears get a late score and hold off a potential game-winning drive by the Ravens with a nice goal-line stand to force the Ravens to get a FG to send Game into OT. The "Monsters of the Midway" then get a 38-yard FG from Robbie Gould to spell 7-4 and join the Lions atop the NFC North with "Restore the Roar" leading with the tiebreaker.
Both QBs played well but Ordinary Joe did throw 2 INTs as he continues to think the Opposition is his friend. The Charm City Express #27 delivered as did Bears RB Matt Forte as this was a classic even with the weather.
