It was 56-55 Lakers at the break as both Teams were playing well offensively then the Pistons come out on a 32-21 3rd frame to take a ten point lead after three. The Lakers make a case in the 4th and final frame and out score the Pistons 29-15 behind a rally that consisted of "Stops" and the Equalizer...the "Money Ball".
Behind a season-high 27 points from Wes Johnson as he and Lakers PF/SF Shawne Williams combine for 12 Money Balls (Six apiece) to over come the Pistons getting high-percentage and getting most of their points in the paint. Williams ended up with 20 points as both Farmar and Gasol added 13 points apiece. The Lakers won the game as they were +39 from the Arc on the Motor City. The Pistons also missed 12 Free Throws to the Lakers missing 10 Free Throws but that Equalizer all night for the Lake Show was the Money Ball.
The Pistons were once again led by Combo G Rodney "Stuck" Stuckey as he came out of the bullpen scoring 22 points. Pistons PG Brandon Jennings had 19 pints and eight helpers as the Pistons Front Line of Mr., Drummond, J-Smoove, and Mr, Monroe combined for 40 points and thirty-eight boards, and eleven helpers. Looking at the numbers the only way for the Lakers to win was to have an overwhelming advantage at the Arc and they did.
The Lakers move to 9-8 as the Pistons fall to 6-10...
