That's twice now in a row that the L.A. Lakers Starting Unit has yet to produce  anything as they go to Big D and get smacked 123-104. Mavs 2013 Free Agent Pick Up Monta "Mississippi Lightning" Ellis has been a huge factor for the Mavs as they have found Robin to go with Batman and Batman would be @Swish41.

Ellis led all scorers with 30 points and also dished out nine helpers but it was the Mavs Team Play. All five Mavs Starter sin double figures and two key cogs off the bench in Jae Crowder (18 pts) and DeJuan Blair (10 pts) played tremendously off the pine. The Mavs are off to a 3-1 starts largely due to its new back court of Ellis and Spanish National Team Captain Jose Calderon. Calderon is a god send and is super-efficient as he nets 12 points tonight connecting on four of six from deep.

The Lakers Starters managed just 32 points (Gasol only Lakers Starter in double figures 10 pts) which was two points more than the Mavs Ellis. The Lakers Bench led by Nick at Nite 2.0 in Nick Young scored 72 of the 104 points the Lakers put up. The Lakers cannot let the home team shoot 50% from both Two and Three range and expect to get a "W" coming out of the Motel.

The Mavs move onto OKC to play the Thunder on Hump Day. The Lakers will get the Rockets and Thursday night and then the Pelicans in NOLA on Friday Night. The Lake Show should be ready for the Dwight Game on Thursday you would think.
