If your going to get the 2013-14 version of the Chicago Blackhawks you need to get them before they hit December as they looked like the Lord Stanley Version 2012-13 tonight at the Madhouse versus the Winnipeg Jets.
Behind a goals from the Captain 19, Citizen Kane 88, and Sharpie #10 with another from Hawks Rook Center Brandon Pirri they beat the Jets 4-1 as the Jets scored late to halt Hawks Net Minder Corey Crawford's possible shutout. The Hawks managed the Frozen One well and they played solid defense as the Jets really couldn't get any momentum vs Crawford.
The Hawks move to 10-2-4 as Net Minder Crawford moves to 9-2-3. The Hawks sprinkled Chicago-Native and Jets Net Minder Al Montoya with 26 shots as he stopped 22 of them. Crawford saved 21 of 22 as he continues his stellar 2013-14 campaign.
Up next for the Hawks is at Dallas versus the Stars on Saturday November 9th. The Jets get the Preds of Music City on Friday November 8th.
