The Atlanta Braves hang on to beat the "Boys in Blue"4-3 to head to Chavez ravine not facing elimination at least yet. Braves Starter Mike Minor went 6 1/3 innings and allowed just one run as he out dueled Dodgers RHP Zack Greinke. Greinke allowed two runs in six innings as both Pens get roughed up a little. Dodgers Shortstop Hanley Ramirez made things interesting with the Dodgers trailing 4-1 in the 8th. He took Braves Reliever David Carpenter for a two-run blast to make it 4-3. Then Braves Captain Save-A-Game Craig Kimbrel gets the save in the ninth. Now the Series heads back to the Show's only Ravine...Chavez Ravine...for games three and four. Braves OF Jason Heyward led the Braves with two RBI.

The Detroit Tigers had Ace RHP "Mad Max" Scherzer going and he didn't disappoint as he gets a hard-fought "W" 3-2 over the Home Team ...the Swingin' A's. Scherzer was cruising until the bottom half of the 7th with the score 3-0 Tigers A's OF Yoenis Cespedes took Mad MAx for a two-run HR to make it 3-2. That score though would be the Final as the Tigers Pen shit it down after Mad Max exited the Bump after the 7th and eleven Strikeouts. A's Starter Bartolo Colon allowed three runs on ten hits as the Tigers put a crooked three on him in the top half of the first and that would stand up as the game-winner. Game 2 is tonight with Justin Verlander going against the A's Sonny Gray..Who?
