The Indiana Pacers have the edge in the Pacers/Knicks Series simply because they have the advantage at almost every position and even at Small Forward 'Melo get a the advantage over Paul George but not by as much as you think. The Pacers getting their "Gold Swagger" Back go into New MSG and beat the Knicks 102-95 and led by nearly twenty in the third frame.

With 'Melo saddled with foul trouble in the3rd frame the Pacers Bench took advantage as they get 16 huge points off the pine from former Hookem' Horns Point Guard D.J. Augustin. The Knicks were manhandles on the glass as Pacers PF D-West led Gold Swagger with 20 points and Pacers All-Star Paul "Rated PG-24" George had 19 points, five boards, and four assists as he played 'Melo's Shadow in Game 1. Pacers Big Guard and Brooklyn-Native Lance Stephenson continues to impress with 11 points and thirteen rebounds in front of the home folks whose not ready current U of Cincy Bearcats Coach Mick Cronin?

The Knicks also had poor hot-selection but that is par for the course talking 'Melo and "Get Shots" J.R.. The Bully had 27 points and eleven rebounds on just 10 for 28 shooting while J.R. added 17 points on 4 of 15 from the field. "Ever body loves Raymond of New MSG" netted 18 points on just 8 of 12 shooting and imagine what you can do with good shot selection.

If the Knicks are going to get back into the Series they must start getting back to playing solid half court "D" and rebounding. Tyson Chandler was also saddled with foul trouble early and later fouled out. The Pacers now get home court advantage with game two in New MSG on Tuesday May 7 with the Knicks in a must-win as they can't give the Pacers both games at their place.

Note: Knicks Magic Number from the Arc is twenty-five attempts and they met that only shooting nineteen and hitting seven.
