It wasn't how Lakers Lead Man or the "Kobe System" drew it up but it goes in the Right Column...the "W" Column for a Lakers Win. They beat the Hornets and avoid getting stung right out of the Playoffs at least for now 106-94.

Lakers looked as though they were going to open the Game up in the 2nd frame leading the Hornets 43-33. The Hive Drive if NOLA went on a 17-2 run to close the 2nd frame and lead at the Break 50-45. Something about these Lakers tells me its over as the bait is in Staples and they won't bite it. The Lakers then come and restore order and end the game on a 59-46 advantage. The Black Mamba had a game-high 30 points, six rebounds, and six helpers. The Spaniard Gasol chips in with 22 points and eleven rebounds while Dwight of Three Stripes added 19 points and six rebounds. The Lakers will need every ounce of energy as they flew out to the Rose City to play Rip City on a back to back home and motel series.

The Hornets were led by Eric Gordon's 22 points and 2012 Top Pick Anthony Davis' 18 points and fourteen rebounds. The Lakers will finish with the at the Blazers and then Two home games vs  Warriors and Spurs as all three games are must wins.  It is the 12 o'Clock Hour in Laker Nation and we are about to see if the LAKEshow can pull it off to the Thunder's Demise or the Spurs.

Will the Real Staples Purple and Gold Stand Up!
