The St. Louis Cardinals wasted no time getting to Gigantes #1 Man Matt cain as they chase Cain after 3 2/3 innings. The Cards put a crooked number fourteen up as the beat the Giants 14-3. Ironically enough the Redbirds hit no Bombs and a few Doubles as the rest were of the single bag variety. Redbirds Ace Adam Wainright went seven solid and only allowing seven hits and two runs. The Redbirds lose game one on Friday but bounce back and get two Saturday and today.

The L.A. Dodgers lost two of three in their Opening Week Home Stand to the rival Gigantes only to see the Pittsburgh Pirates come to town and sweep the Buccos three straight. Today was a common theme for the Dodgers as it was deadlocked 2-2 after the first frame,. The Dodgers then stayed on the attack and put up four more while holding the Buccos to zero for a Dodgers 6-2 win. Dodgers RHP and Korean Import Hyun-Jin Ryu went 6 1/3 innings for the Boys in Blue and allowed 2 runs on three hits. The Two Runs were compliment of Buccos Star CF Andrew McCutchen "Cutch 22" two-run bomb in the top half of the 1st frame.  The Dodgers have been getting offense from everyone in that line up and that bodes well in a 162 game trek.

Remember everyone has been talking about the NL West being a Three Trick Pony and not two. Listen up Show Heads the D-Backs are for real as they go into Beer Town USA...Milwaukee and sweep the Brew Crew 3-0. They get a big W in Extras today in eleven as former "Jays Top Flight Prospect Eric Hinske goes 2-run Big Fly in the top half of the 11th to seal the victory for the D-Backs.Cause for concern in Brewers Land as they fall to a dismal 1-5.

The South Siders of Chi City beat the M's of Seattle in Extras at the Cell as both starters Hisashi Iwakuma of the Mariners and Chris Sale of the Pale Hose go late into the game having both given up three runs. Then in the bottom of the 10th frame White Sox LF Dayan Viciedo goes Yard with no one on and two outs in the Inning. The loss takes the M's to 3-4 and the Chi-Sox to 4-2 on their current home stand.
