Yanks Starter Kuroda got hit with a Crooked Three in the bottom half of the first as the Yanks get a 3-run Bombs from former Tribe Member Travis Hafner. Then the Yanks settle down to put up more numbers in the 3rd through the 7th inning as they chase Tribe Starter Ubaldo Jimenez after 4 1/3 and seven runs on seven hits. Kuroda gets the Win as the Yanks beat the Tribe 11-6 but Kuroda gets tagged with three runs on five hits through 5 1/3 innings. The Pinstripes now move to 3-4 on the season. The Tribe fall to 3-4 as well as former Yanks OF Nick Swisher goes 1 for 3 with a run.

The Chicago Cubs open the "Friendly Confines" Wrigley Field only to have the Brew Crew put up a four spot in Inning One and beat the Cubbies 7-4. Cubs Starter Edwin Jackson gets roughed up for eight hits and five runs in six innings. Not pulling his card but that $50 plus million contract for a #4 starter on a Good Staff...c'mon Cubbies. Cubs Back Stop Wellington Castillo goes Solo Job on the bottom of the 2nd for a Cubs bright spot. Brew Crew Starter Marco Estrada gets the W going seven strong innings allowing two runs on five hits while fanning six. The Cubs drop to 2-5 as the Brew Crew moves to 2-5. Thinking Cellar Dwellers...I know it's too early thinking about another Hundo in the L Column for the North Siders.

The Red Legs come into Baseball Town USA..the Lou and in the Top of the 9th frame go '75 Red Machine on the Redbirds with a nine spot and win 13-4. The Game was tied 4-4 going into the ninth as both starters go six plus innings and both get no decisions. Choo leads the Red legs with 3 ribbies as Reds OF Jay Bruce goes 4 for 5 with one ribbie and two runs scored. The Reds move to 5-2 as the Redbirds fall to 3-4. The Cards "Heart of the Order " three through six hitters could only muster four runs on four hits with Holliday, Craig, Molina, and Freese and combined 3 for 13 3 runs scored but only one ribbie.

The Atlanta Braves might as well get ready for one heck of a season and I know its early but picking up the Upton Boys was a flat out A+. The Braves beat the Fish at Marlins Park 2-0 as Justin Upton hist his MLB Leading Sixth Big Fly and almost hot for the cycle with the three bagger missing. Braves Paul Maholm goes 7 innings and allows one hit, striking out seven and giving out three free passes. The Braves have all that pitching from the front end starter to arguably thebest Pen in the Show...Lookout NL East. Braves move to 6-1 as the Marlins aka Fish are lucky King James and the Heat will be playing well into June.
