Finally after every ones Brackets is almost demolished with only one #1 seed making it to HOTlanta it has come down to this. The best team in the tourney the Louisville Cardinals will meet the surprising Wichita State Shockers as most people had that other Team in Kansas going to Atlanta. Then in the nightcap the Michigan Wolverines of the Big Ten battle the Orange of Syracuse. There will be no tricks as all teams have had a whole week to prepare for National Semifinals.

April 6, 2013
March Madness on CBS
Game 1
6:09pm ET

1 CARDS vs  9 SHOCKERS

The Shockers can play or they wouldn't be here and now facing the hottest Team in the Tourney they need to reach way back to get by the Cards. Louisville is playing off their Teammates (Kevin Ware) Injury and all that Kentucky Red as the Cards make their 2nd Trip straight. The Guard Play is the Key in all March Madness Games and this one will be no different. Can the Shockers handle that Cards Press on every Louisville made basket? Can Louisville handle the Shockers Versatility between the 2 and the 4? The Shockers must control the Cards on the Offensive Glass with Monsters Behanan and Dieng. Shockers Big Carl Hall, a Power Forward, will have to rise up and meet the challenge the Cards will present him in the paint. Playing the Cards you have to handle that "Pressure for 40 Minutes" as Duke last week handles it for 27 minutes and lost by 22....Kentucky Red is real.

Key Match Ups or "Guard Play"

Shockers Guards Armstead, Early, and Van Fleet

Cards Guards Siva and Smith

Game 2
8:49pm ET

4 the 'CUSE vs 4 WOLVERINES

It's all about how will the Wolverines and 2012-13 Wooden Award Winner PG Trey Burke handle that 'Cuse 2-3 Match Up Zone Extended. Maize and Blue have the Guards to do it but can they make the Orange pay. Also Transition D for both will be key as both the Orange and Wolverines have Athletes that like to get out and multiple players who can finish at the rim. 'Cuse PG Carter-Williams has been a problem with his length and also his ability in transition to find teammates and get his own.     Hardaway Jr. has to show as well as Stauskas and Robinson III and they must shoot from the Arc at a high percentage. Carter-Williams and Triche are the best Tandem in College Basketball that you haven't heard much about. Throw in SF and Athlete CJ Fair and the 'Cuse can be dominant. If Michigan can make the Orange play from behind by double-digits it could be a long night for the 'Cuse. The flip side of that is if Michigan falls behind by double-digits can they get back in the game playing against that zone.

Key Match Ups

'Cuse Guards Carter-Williams and Triche along with SF Fair

Wolverines Guards Hardaway Jr., Burke, and Stauskas along with SF Robinson III

Keep and Eye out for 'Cuse PF and Shooter James Southerland...and for Michigan's Big Mitch McGary

Who will be playing Monday Night for that "One Shining Moment" and a Chip for the Ages?
