NL West Drama....

Gigantes score 1 in the 9th to send the Contest to Extra Frames vs D-Backs and then get the Game-Winner in the 10th to stay ahead of the Dodgers by 4.5 who used some Magic as well. The Hitting Stars for the Giants were Scutraro, Panda Smash Sandoval, and NL MVP Candidate Buster Posey. They combined for 8 for 16 from the Dish, 4 Runs, and 4 Ribbies. Zito didn't figure in the Win or Loss and he went Only 5 as it was the Gigantes Pen that held the Giants long enough in there to Win it in Extra Frames.

The Dodgers on the other hand Scoreboard Watching themselves scored in the Bottom of the Last Frame the 9th to send the game into Extras and then win it in the 11th. They stay 4.5 Games behind the Gigantes in the NL West. More Importantly they stay within a 1.5 Games of the Redbirds for the #2 Spot in the NL Wild Card.

The Redbirds beat the Amazins' 5-4 and there is no time for the Faint at Heart as every Game counts from here on out.

AL Drama


In the AL the Pale Hose get 5 strong Innings from Starter Hector Santiago and the South Siders Pen hold the Twinkies at bay for a 4-2 Win. The Sox needed a Positive Vibe after getting swept in the Motor City over the Weekend.  The Sox now lead by 1/2 Game over the idle Tigers.

The Halos say what about us and cool off Division Rival the Swingin' Athletics 8-3 as C.J. Wilson gets the Win. The Halos are now 4.5 back of the A's and need to Sweep the Athletics to put them,selves squarely back into the AL Wild Card Race.
