Do you really know who put everything on the line when they had no Scholarship Offers to Division 1 Men's Basketball Programs, no Grades and that dreaded word back then Proposition 48 Non-Qualifyer (They either have the Grade Point Average nor the ACT/SAT Score or neither), and they had to go to Junior College in what Hoop Addicts call the JUCO Route.

The JUCO Route is end of all end it's just that why guys are on the Major Scene in College Hoops you have to puddle through sometimes Small Town USA, Small College USA, and Small Gym USA. You will be absolutely surprised who called the JUCO Route Home for at least Two Years and sometimes just a Year to a Qualifyer (Has the Grades and ACT/SAT Score to get into Division 1 but is in Juco to get better Offers).

Some of the Top Junior College Conferences are in Kansas, Missouri, and Texas for Basketball and a lot of this list is from those Three States.

Stephen Jackson of now the Spurs originally signed with Arizona as he went to Oak Hill Academy his Senior Year in Virginia.

Larry Johnson was a 1987 Big Mac at Dallas, TX Skyline HS and signed with SMU but the NCAA investigated his Grades and then he went to Odessa TX CC a 2-Time National JUCO player of the Year then joined Tark the Shark at UNLV.

Lloyd "Sweet Pea" Daniels the legend from NYC went to JUCO in California then straight to the Logo.

"Downtown" Fred Brown was all that at the Winningest JUCO in the Land...Southeastern CC Iowa Blackhawks before he went to Star on for Iowa and the 1978-79 Seattle Supersonics as World Champions.

Shawn Kemp went to Trinity Valley CC TX near Dallas, TX after the NCAA reportedly kicked him out of Kentucky for impermissable Benefits and he never played there as the next season he went to the league. Nick Van Exel starred also at Trinity Valley CC TX  before going to Cincinnati and Huggie Ball.

Mitch Richmond starred at Ft. Lauderdale Dillard HS FLA (and was best friends with Football Star at Dillard Michael Irvin) and went onto to Moberly Area CC in Missouri. One Air Jordan once said, " Mitch was one of he toughest Guards I had in the Logo".

Sam Cassell starred at Baltimore MD. Dunbar HS before going all the way Southwest to San Jacinto TX CC then off to Florida State to join Heisman Winner Charlie Ward and Douglas Edwards among others.

Then my Dude JR EASY Rider went to Juco in Kansas and California before landing in UNLV then off to being a 1st Rounder with the t"Wolves of the logo.

Gerald Wilkins went to Juco in Missouri before going small school University of Tenn Chattanooga and is the Younger Brother of Dominique Wilkins.
