Let's be honest it never looked like the Heat were winning and the whole time the Heat were up it just seemed like the Thunder was going to win the contest.
After a smooth 36 points from @kdTREY5 and another stellar performance at the point...the Thunder walk away with the all important Game 1 Win in the 2011-12 NBA Finals. Uncle Russ of ThudnerUP might have played his best game yet as he pours in 27 points, 8 boards, 11 helpers, and only 2 my bad Coach Brooks. If the Heat are going to have any chance they must contain Uncle Russ of ThudnerUP.
The Heat 30 points, 9 boards, and 4 helpers from King James but it's the production from Wade County that is killing the Heat as he only chipped in with 19 and 8 boards and looked over matched vs Thabo and Uncle Russ.
Wade County must have something nagging him because he just does not look like that player from even 2 years ago. The hunger can't be gone so what is it with Wade County this Playoffs? He at times looked like the 3rd Option at best for the Heat vs the paces and C's and that play has carried over into the Finals. If Wade County doesn't step his game up the Heat will be soon the Buffalo Bills of the Logo.
Regular Mario and Shane Battier both played thei parts well in Game 1 and Bosh played alright but the Heat need all 3 of their Big 3 clicking or they have no shot. James is not the one to worry about as Team Hollywood as H*LL takes an L.
The most shocking Stat to Game 1 is that Big Game James went for 5 points on 2 of 6 shooting and he let Durant and Westbrook do their thing as they were both locked in. That also spells Gloom and Doom for Team White Hot moving forward taking an L with Harden only getting 5 points.
Game 2 Thursday June 14, 2012 at Thunder Alley 9PM ET. Remember the Logo Finals Game Format 2-3-2 not the Traditional 2-2-1-1-1.
