Is it the Changing of the Guard in the West right before our eyes. Last season the Dallas Mavericks rode a wave and they showed everyone in the West how to be Champs including the Thunder and the Thunder have not forgot.  

Now looking at a 2 Game Deficit just about a week ago the Thunder have clawed back and have won Three in a Row and now put all the Pressure on the Spurs for the Close out Game in OK City on Wednesday. Or is the pressure on the Thunder to close out Game 6 in their building?

Game 5 was a Man's Game as Manu and TP9 kept the Spurs close and the Trio of OK City...aka the Young Guns led by Kevin Durant, aka Kevin the Kid, Uncle Russ, and Big Game James 2.0 hold off a furious rally late by the Spurs to get the W.

The Thunder get 27 from KD, 20 from James Harden, and at the Controls 23 and 12 from Uncle Russ as they knew the Spurs were coming down the stretch and to the Thunders Credit they matched it. Now the Spurs have to some how stop that Thunder and Lightning or the Storm will swallow the Alamo City up.

TP9, Dunc, and Manu had the Spurs within striking distance with TP9's 20 and Duncan's 18 and 12. But it was Manu's 34 including 5 for 10 from the Arc that kept the Spurs right there. I know Manu is always hurt in the regular Season but from a Closing Standpoint he is right up there with the best in the Logo and it isn't even close.

The Stat that spelled gloom and doom for the Spurs was 21 Turnovers and the Thunder get 28 points. Can't do that in a game of this magnitude and expect to get a W with so much at stake and your making these mistakes against the best players in the World.

Now we will see if the Thunder are ready to represent the Western Conference or are the Spurs trying to end this great run at 5 Banners with Dunc getting all 5 and TP9 and Manu getting 4.
