I grew up in Galesburg, Illinois and was really close to then MVC and National Powerhouse the Bradley Braves and discussing thr Braves is coming soon. But I vividly remember the Other teams that came into the Fieldhouse on Bradley's Peoria, Illinois Campus.

The Nationally-Ranked Wichita State Shockers led by arguably one of the best Power Forwards to ever play Division 1-A Hoops and the Two players that played with him made the Shockers Front Line arguably the best in the Country in 1984-85. Levitt Arena was rocking in those days behind all that talent in Wichita, Kansas.

Xavier "X-Man" McDaniel, Cliff "use to own the Riveria Nightclub in Chi-City" Levingston, and Antione "the Big Dawg" Carr who backed up the Mailman at the Salt Palace. These 3 Players put the Wichita State Shockers Program to new heights and if it wasn't for some minor Violations they may have won a National Championship.

How good was the X-Man at WSU....his 1984-85 Season he went for 27 ppg and 14 rebs per and shot some 55% from the Field and most of those were of the Nigh Percentage Variety like Dunk you Very Much.

X went on to post amazing numbers at WSU with 2,152 points and 1,359 boards. A 2-Time MVC Player of the Year '84-'85, and a 1st Team All-American in 1985.

The Big Dawg was MVC Player of the Year in 1983 and averaged over 17 ppg at WSU and was a HS Teammate of Rock Chalk's Great PG Darnell Valentine.

Cliff was All-MVC 80-82 and was a Vital part of the 1981 Team.

Look at the talent 3 Top 10 NBA Drfat picks 1982, 1983, and 1985. X did moast of his work in the Logo by the Space Needle teaming up with Sniper Dale Ellis and PF Tom Chambers. The Big Dawg did most of his work playing with Stock and Malone of the Salt Lake palace Boyz...the Jazz. Last but not least Cliff did his Resume Builder in the 404 with the Hawks with the likes of the Human Highlight..'Nique, Tree, Doc Rivers, and Spud Webb. He later joined Mike, Scottie, Horace, and the Zen Master for the Bulls first 2 Chips in Bulls History.
