Coach George Karl had his best days in the early 90s to mid 90s with the Seattle Supersonics and the Glove and Rain Man Crew. But after leaving the Great Northwest Coach Karl inherited a Trio that had the Logo on Fire in the East as well as the whole League.

In the 1998-99 NBA Shortened Season....enter in his 2nd Year from Dalzell, SC Hillcrest HS and the UConn Huskies....Sniper Ray Allen aka Sugar ray Brand Jordan. In his 5th Season from the mean streets of Gary, Indiana and Roosevelt HS via West Lafayette, Indiana...Purdue University...Glen "Big Dogg" Robinson. Lastly in his 8th season and 2-Time Champ from Houston Rocket then Baltimore Dunbar HS and Florida State via San Jacinto CC.... Combo G Sam "I AM" Cassell.

The Bucks were an exciting Team back then and took on their Lead Man George Karl's Persona and were at the Top of the Logo in Scoring with 2 of the 10 up and coming Stars in the Logo in Sugar Ray and tha Big Dogg.

They only finished 4th in the Central that shortened year but they had plenty of Firepower. In the next 2 Seasons before it was broken up the Bucks were one of the top Teams in the Central and in the 2000-2001 NBA Season they finished in 1st Place as the East had completely turned over from the Bulls Dominance in the 90s by then.

They also had players like 4th Year man by the 2000-01 Season SF Tim Thomas of Paterson Catholic then over the Bridge in Philly to Villanova. Most of their Bigs that season were of the Veteran variety like Ervin Johnson from the New Orleans Buccaneers and Scott Williams former Champion of the  Chicago Bulls.

Now you see why the Bucks were so Lethal because they had  Scorer in tha Big Dogg, a Shooter and Scorer in Sugar Ray, and a Point God who took on many personalities who could score, be a facilitator, and was there unquestioned leader...Sam I Am Cassell.

Tha Big Dogg is out of the league but has Bloodline soon coming as Glenn Robinson JR. of St John, Indiana's Lake Central HS (ranked #18 in Class of 2012 Top 100 by ESPNU) will be on display this fall 2012 in Ann Arbor, Michigan for the Maize and Blue.
