The Chicago Blackhawks again begin another NHL Season with a "Bang" raising another banner but the New York Rangers were under the thought process of "It's a Party...and we are invited"! Behind three first period goals the Blue Shirts holds off the Indian Head by the score of 3-2 as NHL Face-Off 2K15 gets into full swing.
It was Oscar Lindberg just over a minute and a half in frame one that beat Corey "Craw-Dad" Crawford making it 10 Blue Shirts! Then it was Russian Import Artemi Panarin scoring four minutes past the midway point tying the game at 1-1. Not even a minute and a half later the Blue Shirts strike with a Kevin Klein score and inside a minute Derek Stepan "Lights the Lamp" and just like that it was 3-1 Blue Shirts after one.
The Hawks Finnish Winger Teuvo Teravainen "Lit the Lamp" on the 2nd frame as the Hawks could not get another one past Swedish Blue-Paint Tenant Henrik Lundqvist as New York escapes the "Madhouse on Madison" with a 3-2 victory!
Lundqvist stopped 32 of 34 SOG while "Craw-Dad" stopped 24 of 27 SOG. Chicago out shot N.Y. 34-27 including doubling them up in the 3rd 14-7 and no one scored. The Blue Shirts move to 1-0 while the Hawks fall to 0-1... as the Ring and the "Bling" is the thing!
