Here we go as the 2K15 Atlanta Falcons dba Team Quinn and I have been told its called "Quinning" arrives at the Big S63 AMG Mercedes-Benz Superdome at 5-0. The Falcons have been doing everything right as the new "D" has taken a page from the Seattle Seahawks where Quinn last was D-Coordinator. Offensive weapons in WR Julio Jones and RB Devonta Freman have been exceptional through the first five weeks and the Saints "D" must slow those two down to have any chance.
As for the 1-4 Saints who look like a shell of their former selves the Offense has lost their explosion plays and that might have a lot to do with both TE Jimmy Graham and WR Kenny Stills long gone. QB Drew Brees still has that lingering shoulder issue in his throwing arm and the run game is at a stop light in Mardi Gras. Can they muster any success and points in the Vertical Passing Game versus a Falcons "D" that has two emerging elite Islands in Desmond Trufant and Robert Alford?
What to watch for:
Falcons must be in "Attack Mode" as they will bracket WR Julio Jones leaving others Targets like Roddy White and Leonard Hankerson...they must answer the call!
Saints Run Game has to be around 80 yards for them to have any chance...
Falcons Run Game in the Red Zone has been all Freeman...can the Saints stop it?
Saints WRs Brandin Cooks and Willie Snead must win their one on ones with Trufant and Alford...
Takeaway Battle....who wins?
3rd Down Conversions vs 3rd Down for the "D" getting off the field...who wins?
Saints Nation will be loud can their Football Team ride that initial wave for some success?
"Blitz" both QBs as the Falcons have had success in blitzing under Quinn all season long...
Throw out the 2K15 W-L as its deeper than that as I expect a close game...
"Splash Plays" we know who makes them for the Falcons but who makes them for the Saints...
Winner: Falcons 30-16...
