The New York Yankees came into tonight trailing the Toronto Blue Jays by 1.5 game sin the AL East. The Blue Birds won their game in extras and the Pinstripes needed a solid effort from starter Jose Pineda. The Boston Red Sox at this point in the season is playing "Spoiler" and trying to spoil everyone on their remaining schedule chasing October Hardball.

It was the Carmines getting their only ruin of the night on a Pablo "Panda Smash" Sandoval RBI single in the 3rd for a 1-0 lead. That lead would last until the 5th as the Pinstripes finally got to Carmines starter Rick Porcello on a Stephen Drew two RBI double putting the Yanks up 2-1. Pineda would leave after six and Porcello would take that 2-01 deficit into the 8th when Yanks 2K15 All-Star Brett Gardner greeted him with a solo blast to right pushing the lead to 3-1 Yanks.

That Yanks Pen is tough as Dellin Betances and Yanks Captain Save-A-Game Andrew Miller hold the lead down as they escape Fenway with a 3-1 "W"! Miller gets his 29th save. More importantly with the Blue Birds winning the Pinstripes moving to 73-58 stays 1.5 games back in the East and leads the AL Wild Card by 4.5 games over the #2 Texas Rangers.

The Carmines at 61-71 some fourteen games back of the Blue Birds as they are 8 games back of the #2 Rangers in the AL Wild Card...
