The Denver Broncos proved last week that with Peyton Manning learning that new offense the "D" will have to step up and they did with a Red Zone Stand against the Purple Browns in the last seconds to preserve victory.
The Kansas City Chiefs on the other hand came out like "Gang Busters" and was all over the Houston Texans early only to hold on late. They have been playing big-time "D" for #RedFriday (doing #RedThursay in this tilt) the last few seasons and if QB Alex Smith and Company can put up points...the "Fight for Lamar" (AFC Championship Trophy) might comeback home! Now we get Broncos and Chiefs at Arrowhead in a Throwback AFC West Battle for NFL Thursday Night Football Week 2.
Keys to the Game:
Manning and the Wide outs must get on the same page quickly...
The Chiefs Edge Rushers Houston and Hali are simply delicious and can that Broncos O-Line stop them?
The Broncos Edge Rushers Miller and Ware with Mizzou Rookie and Broncos 1st Rounder Shane Ray can they get to Smith?
Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles must be stopped and can the Broncos Backers stop him in the short passing game?
Red Zone Effiecincy as getting TDs rather FGs in this one will be at a premium...if you cannot convert Red Zone Opportinities into TDs you will most likely take an "L" in this one...
Will Manning go after Chiefs 2015 top pick CB Marcus Peters and Peters should get Broncos #2 WR Emmanuel Go Go Sanders formerly of the Steelers dba Team E88?
Arrowhead Royalty and Backer Derrick Johnson is back and that Chiefs "D" will be super-tough in the toughest place to play in the "Shield" Arrowhead can the Broncos solve the puzzle and escape K.C. with a "W"?
Chiefs TE Travis Kelce starred in "Nightmare for Bulls On Parade" last week as he blitzed the Texans can that Broncos Secondary namely Orange Crush Safety TJ Ward keep Kelce in check?
Can Broncos RB CJ Anderson help Manning and the Passing Game by running the Wilson Pigskin at will versus a front led by NT Dontari Poe among others?
Whoever wins this match up will have a leg up in the AFC West as I know its early but K.C. looked and played the part last week...
NFL Fantasy Sleeper in this one Broncos TE Owen Daniels...
