Chicago Cubs starter Jon Lester had to be looking for some kind of luck as he is 8-10 with plenty of near misses on the win column. Today the Cubbies Offense supplied Lester with four Bombs on their way to putting up crooked digits in three frames including a crooked eight up in the 5th for a 14-5 onslaught of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

It was Cubbies shortstop Addison Russell getting out of his slump going Solo Bomb and two-run blast accounting for three runs and three RBI. That eight-run 5th frame was highlighted by All-Star Anthony Rizzo going "Granny" as Junior Baez added a two-run HR.

Back to Lester he moves to 9-10 going five qualifying for the "W" allowing just two runs. D-Backs starter Zack Godley takes his first "L" of 2K15 falling to 4-1 as he gets chased in the 4th after giving up six runs on four hits.

Chicago moves to 76-57 as Arizona falls to 65-70 as D-Backs star Paul Goldschmidt is not with the team due to personal reasons...
